No support, Deals SAME games over and over January 26, 2010 Jennifer Schafer (Everett, WA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
So, I ordered this CD because I love solitaire. About 2 weeks after installing the software from CD, I encountered a virus on my computer and had to wipe everything. I was able to use my CD driver to reinstall everything from CD -- except for "Pretty Good Solitaire." I emailed the company's tech support (their preferred method of contact) a while ago and never heard anything back.
I thought about fighting for a replacement, I even downloaded the free software for a while, and essentially decided it wasn't worth it.
If you're the kind of solitaire player that will play the same game multiple times to gain mastery of it, then this is NOT the solitaire game for you. I played about 10 different games and everytime the game would end up giving the same shuffles ... I knew whether or not I could win the game by the down cards dealt to me and the entire thing became quite boring.
Not worth the money ... not worth fighting for a replacement 'cause I won't play it.
Great concept, but poorly executed and absolutely no customer support from the company !!!
Great replacement for Windows 7 Card games Freecell and Solitaire January 24, 2010 W. Hiratsuka 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After getting my new computer with Windows 7, I loved everything about Win 7 except the versions of Solitaire (Klondike) and Freecell. The old versions from prior windows versions will not work on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. I think they tried to make the cards pretty, but mostly it is hard to look at in my and my wife's opinion. I've idled away countless hours over the years playing Freecell but the Win 7 version is nearly unplayable to me.
I found this Solitaire game with Freecell on Amazon and downloaded the trial version from [...]. After playing it a few times I bought it and am extremely happy. They have a free download of many card faces so one is bound to please you. The Freecell game itself is smarter and handles many of the moves automatically by using a single click of the right mouse button.
I haven't tried the other 723 games, but plan to try a few more.
If you are unpleased with the win 7 card games you might want to download the trial version and take it for a spin.
A Must-Have for Any Solitaire Fan! December 6, 2009 R. Welsh 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you've ever been a fan of solitaire games, this is the program for you! Hours upon hours of new games, as well as your favorite old ones, and detailed instructions on how to play. The best gift you could get for a solitaire fan, but don't plan on seeing much of your friend once you make the purchase!
I've been using goodsol for a good ten years and still love it!
Simply THE best! December 5, 2009 M. Crossman-Fayne (MO) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've been playing Pretty Good Solitaire since 1997 when there were only 200 different games. Now they are up to 725 and the best solitaire collection on the market. When I get a new machine, or reload my machine, the first game that goes on is Pretty Good Solitaire. I play it while I'm eating lunch or when I just have a few minutes to play around. You don't have to finish the game you are playing - it saves your place and you can pick up where you left off. There are all sorts of other things you can do like taking a snapshot and being able to go back to that point if you don't like the way the game ends. The back button is my favorite. I can correct my mistakes easily. :-) Thomas and Anne Warfield are always there if you have a problem and always eager to help. They were the first people/business I took a chance on in 1997 and have NEVER been dis-satisfied. If you love solitaire you will LOVE this one!
All the Solitaire you could ever want December 5, 2009 J. King (Niskayuna, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have played this solitaire in many versions over the last 10 or more years and this is the best. Totally supported, many features, love the three deck games and it works with every Windows OS I have had seamlessly. Difficult, easy, mostly skill or mostly luck - pick whichever game suits you mood. The absolute best game software I have ever put on my computer!

It's clear which online casino strives to keep ahead of the technological curve and which ones slack off behind. For the most part, the online casino that likes to stay ahead is also the one who is the most reliable, offers the best promotions and customer service. |
